Driven by his commitment to racial justice and equity, Rahsaan Hall is ready to bring his community together to transform the criminal legal system and make it equitable to keep Plymouth County safe. His integrity, kindness, and familiarity with the county make him the perfect candidate; this is why we are focusing on building a campaign with our local community and seeking individuals like you to join The Hall4DA Fellowship Program (H4DAFP) The campaign will have a robust team of volunteers, fellows and a sense of community. Fellowship Requirements
We are currently looking for fellows in the following areas: Research and Policy, Field and Community Engagement, and Fundraising. Fellows will be expected to commit a minimum of 5 to 7 hours per week. Fellows will be paid a stipend depending on hourly commitment. Our goal is to find individuals who are passionate about joining a grassroots campaign, sharing their knowledge and skills, and gaining new ones – all while making history.
Applications for fellowship: Our goal is to bring a diverse team of people who come from all walks of life, so we encourage you to apply regardless of your campaign experience. Our application process has been designed to learn more about you, your passions and skills, and why you want to join our campaign. Please be concise and to-the-point, but don’t be afraid to explain why you are applying for this particular fellowship. Be sure to indicate if you speak another language aside from English as well as any previous campaign experience in your application. Due to the pandemic, these positions will be remote, with in-person opportunities available contingent on the public health situation of Massachusetts.

Fellowship Roles
The four fellowship roles are described below and aim to give you a better understanding of the tasks and responsibilities that are related to: Field and Community Engagement, Fundraising and Finance, Digital Communications, and Research and Policy. Please note that the focus of your responsibilities will be determined by the campaign needs and your availability. We are looking for individuals who are:

Knowledgeable about Plymouth County or willing to learn!

Organized, efficient, and able to coordinate multiple projects and ensure high-quality work.

Team players who take initiative and are willing to learn and collaborate with others.

Driven. We are focused on the needs of Plymouth County residents. We work hard for them and we expect you to as well.

Upbeat. We’re pragmatic optimists, always believing that challenges should be discussed with solutions.
Field and Community Engagement
The Field and Community Engagement team plays a key role in winning a campaign by implementing a strategy that aims to ensure the candidate's message reaches as many people and voters as possible. Field and Community Engagement includes a combination of outreach strategies such as: phone calls, knocking on doors, and social media, etc. In this role the fellow will:

Support the Field Director with Field and Community Engagement strategy

Help coordinate Field and Community Engagement events

Support with data entry related to voter engagement

Fundraising and Finance
The Finance Committee works to ensure the entire campaign team has a clear understanding of the current and financial status of the campaign. This is key to ensuring the campaign is reaching as many community members and voters before they go to the polls. The Fundraising and Finance Fellow will become part of the campaign’s Finance Committee and support different aspects of the fundraising strategy.

Helping the coordination of house parties/fundraising events

Supporting with thank you emails, cards, and follow up calls after fundraisers

Digital Communications Fellow
The Digital Communications team works to ensure the campaign's messaging is delivered effectively throughout the campaign via online efforts. These efforts include, but are not limited to managing social media channels, email campaigns, and overall online communications. This team is key to ensuring voters of Plymouth County and beyond stay connected with the campaign. In this role, the Digital Communications Fellow will support with multiple online efforts of the campaign including:

Attending Digital Communications meetings, as needed

Creating content to be used for online communications

Supporting the management of social media content

Research and Policy Fellow
The Policy and Research team works closely with the communications team and the candidate to research existing policies, laws, statistics, and current events that are key to the candidate’s policy platform. This fellow will also support knowledge management throughout the campaign. In this role, the Policy and Research fellows’ work may include:

Supporting with research and analysis of a wide range of legal, statistical, and policy issues,

Supporting the writing and drafting of policy issues and current events

Supporting the documentation of the concerns of Plymouth county residents
